The Carrollton Police Department Citizen Patrol offers Vacation Home Checks to all Carrollton residents.

Citizens may learn more about the roles of local law enforcement and to take an active role in efforts to maintain a safe city through programs offered by the Carrollton Public Library.

The presence of graffiti, especially gang graffiti, leads to an increased fear of crime and less community involvement.

This is a service of the Carrollton Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association for the City of Carrollton and the Carrollton Police Department.

Members support the Carrollton police department by doing child fingerprinting, running bike safety rodeos, and helping with other crime prevention and police-sponsored community activities like Santa Cops and Shattered Dreams.
The group also delivers warrants, court filings, grand jury documents and case evidence to Dallas, Denton and Collin Counties as needed.
The CCPAAA provides food for officers during the holidays.
Carrollton Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association is a Texas non-profit corporation and has IRS 501(c)3 status.
